| MY little guy started off really dark with some white on his face, and now his black is almost gone especially after his haircut, he is white and silvery. Everyone I meet loves his coloring though, too me he's a "special" yorkie. Here he is with "the other love of my life" my daughter.

We've been using Dream Coat supplement by Halopets.com in our furbabies food and its made a big difference just in the last 2 wks . We started them on it Aug 1st. along with the Spots Stew. Their dispositions have changed for the better, more relaxed. Your little one is such a cutie ! That pix of her in the yellow sweater should be on the front cover of Yorkie Magazine.....

Carter started off with silver roots and went to solid silver on the top of his head. Now at 13 months, the silver is turning tan or blonde. Lisa Carter's Mom

Pita did the same thing, she's more blonde now on her head and I thought the silver was going away on her back but it seems to be coming back... so it's not just you.

And don't feel bad about him not being close to standard.. my oldest yorkie is 12 lbs, floppy ears, and has a long tail.. but like you.. I wouldn't change him for the world!

My Yorkie Riley is turning silver. Him was basically all silver with a little brown. Riley's head is basically silver and we can see the roots of his hair starting to turn silver. It is hard to see, but if you look under some of his hair, he is silver. I am pretty sure he will turn mostly silver because of his mother, but it doesn't bother me. I think he is cute either way, and so is your Yorkie. Your furbaby is absolutely GORGEOUS!!

Indiana started out black and tan, but by 4 months his head was silver and he had an inch of silver roots attached to his black hair on his body. I had him clipped really short because it was so hot this summer and didn't recognize him when I picked him up! He is now pretty much all silver. Passionfruition, I know what you mean about soft silky coats and bigger than norm size. Indy has the softest coat, everyone who sees him remarks on it, and he is also 9lbs with a long torso and sometimes floppy ears. I wouldn't change a thing!!! He's a great dog!
