I have a few carriers, but both have hard straps that dig holes into my shoulder. I am looking for an inexpensive one that has padded or soft straps...any suggestions. Reese is about 6-7lbs, so it can't be too tiny..she has a long body just like her mommy (me)

I have a few but my favorite is the KWIGY-BO charlie black leather. It is so soft and comfy. The best part is it looks like a purse so no one knows I have my doggie in the mall or grocery store

The only thing is it is soft sided carrier ( which I like ) so wont work if you want a more "hard" carrier.

I also just ordered a skull and crossbones carrier from The Punky Pup. They have lots of cool ones if you don't want traditional.

Could you get a sheepskin cover for the strap to soften it. I'm thinking of the type you see for the shoulder strap part of the seat belt. If you like your carrier I'd try to find a way to make the strap part work.
