Don't be embarrassed, it's perfectly normal, although your email was really funny. What concerns me is putting sugar "there" and having him lick it off. I would be very concerned about him ingesting sugar. Prince's mom |
I, too, found this pretty funny as I read it!!! My puppy, at 9 weeks old....is already humping!!! Nothing comes out yet, but he is definitely doing the motion...the first night I brought him home, he started humping my leg...... |
This happened a few times with my daschund. He's so low to the ground and 'its' so long, he was literally dragging it on the floor. I was like ewwww. Thank goodness it went away on its own. |
Sigh. The day after I posted to this thread about how my yorkie's equipment stays tucked in at all times... it made an appearance. Fortunately it was very quick. It just popped its head out, looked around, and went back to sleep. |
Ahh the humping! Well heres a good story. I ve only ever had female dogs, bt i really wanted a boy, my BF got Bowie for us and he is now 6 months, he started humping at about 3 months!!! So one day hes humping and i see this rip on his pee pee and i freak! I mean, im ready to take him to the vet until my bf starts cracking up so hard and tells me" Thats his actual penis, not the soft stuff you see, hes ok, hes just out" so yeah, i was a bit naive. To say the least! |
Found this with a search. My boy got his red rocket stuck comming out of the launch pad. :cool:After a bit of a struggle to get him to lay back against my knees I was able to tug on the hairs. It was really stuck but I got it back where it belongs. All the hairs were tucked in there pretty good which kept things from working properly. I've been around dogs all my life but this Yorkie is really a different breed.:aimeeyork He's two years old and fixed but he will give his crate pad a work over every now and then. I've never seen anything like this it was all jammed up and looked like it was uncomfortable for him. Gotta keep that area trimmed down. snow |
This is the funniest post I have ever read!!!!!!! I've only seen Cash's thingie once, when he was about 8 months - before his neuter, but I don't allow him to hump anything, so I really hope that this will never happen to me. But if it does, I now know what to do!! |
Ewwww Here is a story that has become a family tradition. Now My mom is 82 yrs old and spent her childhood on a farm. She live in another state than me, but she calls me one day hysterical and says her Rufus' penis is falling out. I got her to calm down and tell me what she is talking about. She says that Rufus has always humped the cat and his stuffed bear, but she never saw his penis. But this morning he is walking around funny so looks him over and it is hanging out all the way and there is lump at the end of it next to his scrotum and it looks like it is going to fall out. Of course I started giggling and she gets so mad at me. I said I can't believe she has lived this long and a farm girl and don't know about boy dogs. She is very indignant and says that she didn't do things with the animals. I told her to go take Rufus to a dark room, like the bathroom, and wait about 30 minutes and it should be okay. She did and of course he was fine, but she didn't believe me that it was normal so she took him to the vet and of course he told her the same thing. I also told her that his hair probably needs trimming down there which she said couldn't do, so she took him to a groomer. |

I missed this thread when it first came up, now I read the whole thing, my goodness , i am thrilled to have a girl :) However, she is a humper, and has grabbed my arm and not let go. She holds on so tight it is difficult to release her, oh and then she starts getting all worked up, panting too. Of course i stop her fast, then she just keeps trying over and over again, grabbing on my legs , shoulder, anything. I have to place a pillow in between us at times, or get up to stop her from humping. She is now 11 months old and needs to be spayed, I am terrified of losing her though. Yorkies are know to be sensitve to being put under, and I am so scared of losing her. thankfully she is female, however they can be just as bad about humping as the males. just dont' have to see a penis , <LOL  |
Getting your boy fixed. It's really best to get your puppy fixed before 6 months and solve most of these problems. There are vets that fix male puppies at 12 weeks of age. There are breeders who won't sell their pups unless they are altered, because of the champion lines. I believe 2 lbs is big enough to do it. 6 months is really the oldest it should be done. You will find much difference in a small animal vet than others. Anesthesia should never be used. The gas is the best, because the vet can control how much your baby gets. he can cut it off when he goes to sleep or shut it down. If he starts waking up, he can turn it up. The puppies and dogs really recover better, and wake up faster with the gas. This makes much difference. It takes less time for them to recover from gas. They may never recover from Anesthesia. This is also a good topic to cover when choosing a vet for your puppy, is what age and weight can he alter your puppy at. It's actually the most important thing to discuss when you get a little boy. |

A Very sick Yorkie Please help me to find the ans. I need Please forgive me I'm new here and I don't understand how to post a new something, I'm having a hard time here and need some help with my baby Boz Lee Hes now 8 months old. We've been to the Vet Thursday Feb. 19th I took him in because he had a fever of 104 when my vet took it, and she did all the blood work CT scan and checked his throat, teeth and gums and because he hadn't eaten or drank anything all day and was dry heaving and he'd tuck his tail under and was very hyper running back and forth like not knowing what he should do. Well anyway my vet also gave him a shot to help with the nausea and gave some fluids under his skin. Then she told me she had checked for heart worms, reg. worms, sore throat ear problems, and now his blood works back and other test as well., all was fine, no problems everything looks good. But still what is wrong with my baby..?? Well as we're talking and I reminded her of why I brought him in, she said there is one other thing I can do so she goes back and a few mins. later she brings him out and tells me that his anal glands were full and she drained them. Well at this point I thought as I'm sure she did That fixed the problem well when we got home He perked up and started playing with our frenchton hes a( french bull dog and a boston terrier)and I cooked him some chicken and rice, he ate good. We went to bed About 4:00am Boz had fever again.I covered him up and kept him close to me about 5:00 we got up went to the restroom he had a good bm Tried to feed him again he would eat so I thought, too early ,maybe in a while.Meanwhile hes not feeling good still not eating or drinking and dry heeving well I could just kick my butt for not taking him straight back to the vet but I really thought It would pass and he'd be his happy sweet playful self. Oh, he weighs 4 Lbs @ 8 months so hes going to be small. Well anyway back to explaining What I need first I wish someone would tell me hes going to be O.K. hes had all his shots.Anyway I've been up all night again with Boz, at 4:00 am he asked to get off the couch I put him down he ran for his pad and was spotting blood all the was to the pad and he bleed a lot I woke my B/F and he got up for about 1/2 hour and said I'm going back to bed. Our vet is closed on Sat.I'm freeking out not knowing is almost the hardest thing the hardest thing is not knowing what to do to help fix Boz Lee, He looks at me as to say I'm sich fix me. Its now 5:45 I'm fixing to start calling vets,The breeder I bought him from cause she may know something to help me help him. Please anyone out there If you can tell me some of your experiences and what I could give him to help him I watching this sight, Please forgive me for not doing a interduction I'm sure if anyones been here knows I don't mean to be rude LOL, Margie:unlove: |

I missed this thread the first time around. Good laughs for first thing in the am! I've only seen Hot Rod's out once and I was shocked! It was only out for a few seconds so I was exactly sure what I saw. I thought he'd cut himself so I started examining him. Needless to say all was okay. |
