| I am such a sap! I had to take my kids to a birthday party today, and it was my first time away from Missy for longer than half an hour. After about an hour, I started to REALLY missed her! I just wanted to go home and see my baby. It feels really good to love a pet again. Summer 2007, I had to euthanize the Lab-cross I had rescued when I was a teenager. She was my heart and soul for 14.5 yrs, my bestest friend. I never thought that I could love another pet the way I had my Indy, but Missy has most certainly filled the hole in my heart. I just think it's so awesome when we can have such a strong bond with a pet. As far as how my Missy's doing. She's 10 weeks old now and 1lb 6 ozs. She's finally off the Nutracal. It's been 3 days without. I just have to be sure to feed her some soft food mixed with kibble in the morning to get her appetite going, then she'll nibble on her kibbel all day long. There was one night last week where she cried quite a bit throughout the night. I kept cuddling her, then putting her back in her xpen. She must've had a tummyache that night or something, because she's been sleeping through the night ever since! I tried letting her sleep with me last night and she didn't want to! She wanted her kennel/xpen in the kitchen, little Miss Independant. I am so proud of her, she will race through the house to get to her pee pad. The bribery of Cheerios really helps. She loves having her teeth brushed, and she's getting use to being brushed finally Anyways, thanks for letting me share. It's nice to have people to Yorkie talk with. I'm sure my family and friends are getting sick of hearing it

| Ah....your not the only one. I miss my three when I'm at work and can't wait to get home to see them. Your Missy is really a tiny Yorkie girl. My Rudy weighed 4 lbs something at 8 weeks old. You sound like a great Yorkie mommy, and Missy sounds like a sweetheart. Thank you....for sharing that with us. I don't think here on YT, we ever get tired of hearing about other's Yorkies.

| Thanks! I try to be the best Yorkie Mommy that I can be. I had no idea that Missy was a "tiny" when I got her. I just assumed that all Yorkies were that small as pups. It makes me worry about her a little more, but I love her just the same.

| It's so nice to hear a happy Yorkie story, thank you for sharing. It was the abundance of information that drew me to this forum, but it will be the wonderful little tidbits from Yorkie owners just like this one that will make me stay here on YT into the future. :-) Thank you so much!
