| My Daisy Needs Rogaine !!!! I see all these beautiful Yorkies on the avatars with their long thick hair and look at Daisy Lynn with hers so thin and just wonder. She is only a little over 4 months old but my husband and I think that she needs to get some Rogaine. Her hair is really thin. Will it get thicker as she gets older or will it always be thin? Is it just in her genetic makeup? Don't get me wrong, She is WONDERFUL just the way she is!!!!!!! We were just wondering if her hair will get any thicker as she gets older. Please advise.

| Hi there... I wouldn't worry too much if I were you, I thought the same thing about my little Bailey...her hair was very thin on top of her head. But, as she gets older (she's 7-months now) it has started to fill in. It still is not as thick as some of the others on here, but I am hoping that as she ages, it will continue to thicken.

| I was thinking the same thing. Why do my babies have thin hair on top when I see pictures of others with thick ponytails. My two are just puppies so I think their hair will grow thicker in time. The older puppy (7 months) hair is getting much better and I can get it in a small topknot. I use 1/4" latex bands and wrap them twice and they hold quite nicely. Only thing is when the two play together there goes the topknot! Also, I am so afraid they will swallow the bands when I cannot supervise so Katy's hair is in her eyes a lot. I am so tempted to trim "bangs" but I'm sure I would regret it later. |

| Missy's is quite thin on top too. Someone told me that means she will have the silkier, easier to manage type of a coat. I will be patient and hope this is true

| My Zaira is almost 2 and she has very thin hair. My vet said it was genetic. The good thing about thin hair is that Zaira has never had a single hair matt. Her hair doesn't seem to tangle either. I comb her once a day usually and bath her once a week. I have never cut any of her hair. She is super easy to groom. So I think we are lucky! I love Zaira's thin hair.

| She's still a baby ... even HUMAN babies don't have thick heads of hair to begin with. But genetics will play a big part in it ... she may not be "coded" for thick hair. |
