| Help - Crazy Yorkie! A friend of mine takes his Yorkie to the park daily for a walk and then visits with his friends for a couple of hours at the park. His Yorkie is obsessed with the metal frame of the picnic table and constantly barks at it and when he can get to it he constantly licks it. I am trying to get any info I can for him on what he can do about the problem. Thanks for any help.

| I'm probably not so much help, but sometimes random things set dogs off. Walker HATES popcorn... i tried to give him a piece as a snack and he went crazy. Barking growling attacking. IMO its just a thing. Maybe others would have an actual reason for it? |

| I'm sorry, I can't be much help either...but it is comical, the things that can set a dog off for no reason. Seems like everyday, Bailey is finding something new to growl and bark at....and usually it is the objects that cannot move that peaks her interest the most.

| Bubba barks at plastic trash bags. When my husband goes to put the trash bag in the trash can, he kind of waves it so some air gets into it-ithe sound drives Bubba nuts.

| This thread is too funny. My Mahina will bark at this abalone shell we have. She attacks it, growls at it, barks at it. She'll even try to eat it. I guess it's just one of those things... maybe it's the smell of the shell. Yorkies are so funny, gotta love em.

| Chip does this with almost any metal object... they make him angry for some reason. Chip won't lick the metal, but he'll nudge it with his nose... he's even been known to nudge and growl at mine and my husbands wedding rings while they are on our fingers.

| We put those fake headstones in the front yard as a Halloween decoration. Cocoa went crazy. She kept barking and backing away. She was afraid of them. Like where did these strange things come from and why are they in my yard? It was so hilarious to watch that we did not want to take them down. Bonnie , mom to Cocoa |

| How funny. Allie attacks the vacuum cleaner. I saw that same thing on the Dog Whisperer but it was before Allie, and at 4lbs, I'm not concerned. I actually think it is hilarious. My two other dogs run away from it at top speed, but not Allie Bear. She attacks full throttle. I think it's really funny to see what sets these little guys off. I love the tape measures. |
