| ![]() Like others have said do you research...the BEST dog food to feed your little one would be Meat-based...not grain based dog foods. You can tell by looking at the first 5 ingredients in the food....don't purchase anything with corn in it...it's simply a filler. Also you never want to purchase ANY type of dog food from Walmart..etc..or grocery stores...ALL their foods generally run 2 stars and Under!! I used to think Science diet was premium.....wrong..it's not its lower on the list between 2-3 stars I believe.. Like someone else mentioned Do not necessarily trust your Vet...they do get incentives for pushing certain kinds of dog food..and generally the food they have is not premium. I do feed some kibble and I'm still working on feeding my babies Raw! I have ONE picky eater. I found a good pet store that only carries 4 star and up dog food...such as Canadae.. .(which my picky eater will actually eat) I also like Eagle pack Holistic for my new baby..it has very tiny kibble..which is good since she's only 1 1/2 lbs Innova......and Natures Balance...etc. are all 5 star foods... and are ALL meat based dog foods...You can generally get samples for free to try with your baby..to see which one they like and do well on. Good luck!!

GOOd for you, and especially for your BABY!!! You'll probably notice that she poo's less....than with "junk" dog foods... it's because her body is absorbing most of the nutrients!!! My baby only poo'd one time a day when I had her on total raw....I'd love to get her back completely raw...but she refuses. lol
