The ears...

If I don't shave my pup's ears, will they remain half-flopped?

I'm debating whether or not to shave them. I kind of like them furry and floppy...

I think it helps if you want them to stand up. Lilly is 7 weeks old. We shave the top half of the ear, inside and out, and taped them. She had very floopy ears, and her ears are starting to stand after 2 days.
I guess it just boils down to what you want. Either way, would be just as good I think.

How old is your dog? If it is a young pup they still may go up. I never did shave or tape both Chachi and Jewels and they went up on their own. I would say they were up by 12 weeks old though. I like floppy ears I think they are cute

He's nine weeks old now.

They definitely look less floppy than they did when I got him though. Really only the very tips flop over.

Oh yea hes still a baby. If they arent up by 12 weeks shave and tape them unless you want them to stay floppy

What kind of tape did you use, and how do you get the tape off without hurting the puppy? Thanks.
