Missing Link banned from the UK

Just received an email from my supplier saying he can no longer get supplies of Missing Link This is due to the cold pressed flax seed used has failed new EU regulations. It cannot be allowed in from the USA
I have still got some left and hope they resolve this before I run out

Can you get another product that has the Omega fatty acids in it like
Grizzly salmon oil or dreamcoat?

It's very hard to find suppliments over here.My supplier is online and specilises in natural remedies.Missing link isn't available in pet shops.About all you can buy there are vitamin tablets.Would have to do a google on those you suggested to see if there is a supplier here.

I use the recipe to make the "HEALTHY POWDER" from Dr. Pitcairns book. It has all the same ingredients, plus more vital ones and to make it is quite a bit cheaper than the missing link. Can you buy an Omega 3, 6 & 9?

Could you tell us more about how it failed to meet the standard? Does this mean that "cold" pressing isn't an effective way to process the seed? I really like using the seed rather than the oil because of it's benefit for the colon, but I didn't know about the different ways they process the seed. I know the seed must be ground, and can't be whole, but I'm not sure what cold pressing means. I think it's great the government is taking an interest in this, and telling you that the product doesn't meet standard. Maybe the company will up the standard.

I think it means the flax seed used is substandard and doesn't pass the recommendations.The manufactures are in talks to remedy this as it affects all of the European Union.
Looking at google I can get most Omega's on line.A recipe would be great.

Wow this is good to know, it's an expensive product, and the flax seed should pass standards.
