| New Member Hello, My name is Donna and I will have two yorkies. I have Allie who's picture is posted here and I will have another gold after thanksgiving. Allie is 7 months old and is very sweet (unless you have something of hers). She weighs 3 and 1/2 pounds. She is a bit chunky. She loves to have me do her hair and put a bow or barette in it. It never lasts long as I also have 2 long haired Chi's and they try to promptly remove it. She seems to have a definate mind of her own. She is a lap puppy when she wants to be. We all live in the Pacific Northwest and it is getting cold up here now. I have nicknamed her my houseflower. She is just not too thrilled to go out. I am still haveing a hard time training her to go on a pad or outside. I just ordered some of the washable pads. I am hoping she will use them. Any suggestions on the training? |

| Hi! Welcome to YT! The only tip I have for potty pads is to put some of her urine on it and take her to it frequently at the times you usually take her outside. Just be consistent.

| Welcome to yt, Donna! Sorry I can't be of help with the pee pads - Olivia won't use hers either! But I'm sure you will get lots of good advice from others here.

| Welcome to YT. Maybe already was using a pad when I got her so not much training involved for me but I just wanted to say "hi and welcome!"
