| ![]() When my puppy gets excited, he spins. For example, if I asked him do you want yum yum or treats then he turns around and jumps in the air. I think that mannerism was so cute. I wanted to teach him to do that behavior has a trick, but I cannot get him to do the spin every time I said those words. Does your Yorkie spin when he gets excited? How does your Yorkie act when he gets excited? |

| ![]() My yorkie prongs like an antelope when he's happy. I see him hop like a bunny almost more than I see him walk. It is the most frickin' adorable thing I have ever seen in my entire life. Sometimes I think I might keel over from cuteness. |

| ![]() When I get home from work and let Olivia out of her crate, she takes off running full speed through the kitchen and into the living room, through the foyer and dining room and back into the kitchen - skittering around on the tile floor and all the while she is hunkered down real low to the ground...I think to myself that she looks like a dust mop without a handle scooting around the room! What are those automatic room vacuum cleaners...Roomba's?! That's what she looks like! LOL

| ![]() My dog can get hyperactive at times, but sometimes I like watching him get excited. Watching our dogs get excited is funny and entertaining. Happiness is contagious. I always wondered if the spinning trick is a Yorkie mannerism like the begging trick is a mannerism for Bichons. |

| ![]() I guess when my baby gets excited and do the spin trick was a unique part of his personality trait. I was hoping somebody's babies did the spin trick too when they got excited. I appreciate reading about how everybody's babies behave when they get excited. |

Thor's Human Donating Member | ![]() What's cute about my yorkie? That would be everything! My yorkie is super-cute, even for a yorkie. Seriously, when I walk him, people ask me to stop so they can take pictures. He is three pounds, so he will look like a puppy forever. I especially love when he's running around the park. He usually runs in a giant circle at full speed, so when he's heading back to me, he's at a 45 degree angle with the ground. The centrifugal force pushes all his hair to one side of his body and he actually looks like he's mentally disturbed, but in an impossibly adorable way. He has a very small mouth, so we play fetch with one of my socks. That way he can get his teeth into it and carry it around. When we play outside, the sock usually starts to unroll, and he kind of starts tripping on it as he brings it back to me. There's something about that tiny dog with a big sock that cracks me up. When he's at work, he sometimes runs in circles around the cubicles. One of my coworkers will play growl at him every time he passes by, and he growls back and runs even faster, until he's this tiny, growling blur going at approximately 100 mph. Other than that, when he wakes up in the morning and stretches and yawns... when he's waiting for a treat with his tongue hanging out... when he's in a little ball, sleeping... heck, he's even cute when he's pooping. I love my yorkie!!! |

| ![]() LOL This thread confirms it...Yorkies are the cutest things ever!!!! My Daizy stands on two legs and bunny hops around!! It's hilarious!! It's too soon to know what Tulip does..as I've only had her a week. BUT when she wakes up in the morning she usually yawns 2-3 times and each time she makes the cutest sounds ever!!! I just love it!!!

| ![]() Thank you Bobby Yorkie for sharing. I was wondering if the spin was a Yorkie mannerism, because it was something I did not teach him. It cute how your dog, Daizy, bunny hops on two legs when she gets happy. |

| ![]() I've been meaning to start a thread about this! I've only had my Yorkie Peanut 2 weeks now, and I'm not really sure she has anything funny yet to write about. But my Silky Terrier Chewy is hilarious! When she gets excited she grabs her tags in her mouth! It's bizarre! She'll crane her neck to be able to get her name tag, rabies tag etc in her mouth, and she'll move very slowly like a robot making the funniest noises, tags still in mouth! Hard to explain, but she must be the only dog who does this! Sorry, I don't have any spinners ![]()

| ![]() Sometimes Bella looks like she is doing a bunny hop when she is on her leash. She just gets so excited to go for walks. Also when she is watching me intently she will sit and lift her right paw up. It is just the cutest thing IMHO. ![]()

| ![]() When I get home from work, Snoopy is so happy to see me. He puts his front legs down on the floor, with his behind up, and wiggles. I don't know how else to describe it! And he has his ears back, and licks me, all at the same time. If I stay at the door, he'll keep it up, but if I come through the kitchen to put my purse on the table, he's over it. ![]()
