So is it dumb to pay for personality when he definately is pet quality?????? I had visited some other Yorkies 2 weeks before I found this one and they were half the cost and quite nice looking, but this boy just bonded with me.

In my opinion, there is no such thing as "overpaying". You paid what you paid because you knew he was worth it and it sounds like he is. Don't let the phrase "pet quality" make you think they are any "less" valuable than say, a "show" quality yorkie because that is not true. It just depends on what you are looking for. I like a "look" that is not show quality and I have no intentions of showing so I wouldn't want a "show quality" yorkie. To me "Pet Quality" means more value than show quality for that reason.

Some times we don't pick our yorkies they pick us. As long as your happy I wouldn't let it bother me.

You can't put a price on a happy, healthy, lovable puppy who brings you so much joy. Who cares what others say, it's not their money, so why do they care. It's not like you judge them on how they spend their money, because if you did I'm sure you could find something more of a waste than a puppy that will be with you for many loving years to come.
