$10,000 for a Yorkie??? Is it just me, or is $10,000 outrageous for a Yorkie? I ran across this link (below) and the price on -- well, come to think of it, they were "throwing in the other dog for free" (?????) -- but $10,000??? I was just wondering if I fall into the poverty level of Yorkie owners because I was totally shocked that someone would price a dog that much? That is almost as much as my vehicle is worth!! Any comments??? If this is a common price - I apologize in advance for criticizing anyone... http://psiloveyorkies.com/Puppies.htm |
I can't believe that........ and then the other little one below is being offered for no extra chargs????????????? They are each other companions??????????? I am not sure if I read that right???????????? 10,000 IS Outragous!!!!!!!! |
Wow! Thats puppy is very cute but good golly miss molly!!. $10,000??? I don't think so. |
wow that is crazy I mean yes the dog is very cuteeeee BUT not 10,000 cute!! |
That has got to be a miss print. |
 $10,000. I do understand that, if that is a Biewer, they can get expensive. But never on earth would I guess $10,000 with a "free Yorkie". |
yes 10,000 is outrageous wizard of claws also has yorkies for 10,000. |
I'm not sure, but I question the part about it being AKC registered... unless it's a Parti. I don't think Biewer's are eligible for AKC registration. She is very cute -- but 10-grand is out of my price range! |
That's outrageous! Way too much for any breed, even though we all know yorkies are the most worth it. Even if I had that kind of money, I wouldn't buy that yorkie (even though it's cute) because it's pretty darn obvious that breeder is considering you a stupid person. That you're looking for the next fashion accessory. That dog better crap diamonds before I buy it. |
I will never pay $10,000 for a puppy . |
No, it's not a typo, I tried to buy it and the price was good all the way. It IS a rare color, but in my book it's not an aknowledged yorkie color, therefore it should be cheaper than other yorkies - it looks more like a chihuahua. I have a hard time believing it is pure yorkie... |
Hmpf, don't have to sell but one of those a year. Take care of the vet, food and groomers for all of your dogs for the year. I'd rather have Peggy Sue (wasn't that her name?). Still wouldn't pay $10,000 for her, either. Sylvia |
You think for that kind of money they'd of done an ear trim for the pics, and maybe run a comb through Peggy Sue? Get real. |

AND ANOTHER THING.....it didn't mention anything about the diamond studded carrying case, collar, and leash-plus free premium dog food and vet bills covered for the life of the dogs...now that would be a bargain! |
I can not beleive a breeder would try to sell a pup of any breed for this price... or beleive that anyone being of sound mind would buy one for this price ...cute babies tho |
I would take Peggy Sue in a heartbeat. Her coloring is beautiful. About the ears on both of them. WOW - is the a Chihuahua in their ancestry :D Poor Peggy SUe...her self esteem's gotta be pretty low. Her friend cost $10K, she is *free*. |
ok i see some bad signs. first of all $10,000 is OUTRAGEOUS!!!! and with a free yorkie??? i just don't get that part at all! then they said that you can pay through western union, i thought i heard something about that on here. i don't remember what, but i thought it was bad. You think for that kind of money they'd of done an ear trim for the pics, and maybe run a comb through Peggy Sue? Get real. and i agree with sylvan on that! |
Ok I just went and checked it out because I didn't know what a Biewer was :animal36 . So why not split prices to make them seem like less money... I can only figure ou that I guess the 2 dogs are very attached and she wants them to have a home together???????? |
Now THAT is a marketing technique if I ever saw one - While they're both cute and all - NO WAY is that a 10 thousand anything - but they'll rely on the selling skills and make some poor person with more money than sense think they're getting something really special - it's A SHAME that those prices are out there - it opens the door for all those 'other' breeders in it for the money only to raise their prices or find 'special' traits & claim their yorkies are worth more money than they should be charging. I LOVE yorkies but no way should a yorkie sell for 10 grand. |

I'm with you, even if I could afford it there is absolutely no way I would pay that much for a dog. I hated paying $500 for Mollie which for a yorkie is a deal. That dog cost more than both of my cars. Sheila |
LOL... I was thinking about the chihuahua thing myself but didn't say anything. |
pup If anyone would like to pay me $10,000 for a puppy I will personally deliver her. I will stay for the weekend, teach you to groom, buy the pup everything she needs in the way of "stuff"...clean your house, do your laundry and babysit...or you can come here to FLorida, have a nice vacation on me! LOL |
WOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I'm coming for a vacation....LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL :animal36 :animal36 :animal36 :animal36 :animal36 :animal36 :animal36 Yorkieangel |

"Is the price for the Biewer and the other Yorkie $10,000 or was that a misprint" and she replied :"No joke, and its not a Biewer anyway." ??? |
I agree with all of you, Gosh $10,000. And to think I was only asking $750.00 for my puppies!! Wow, did I under charge!! LOL I don't think that she even looks like a yorkie to boot! |
Is anyone else here disturbed by the fact that her dogs are kept in bunny cages???? Granted, the room looks clean but still....bunny cages??? Besides the fact that 10G is absolutley ridiculous!!! I wish people like this could be thrown in jail. Another thing that disturbs me, is that at the top of the website she coments that she's not breeding dogs that a good enough to breed again....so why on earth is she breeding? People like this are NOT helping to better the breed. She's just breeding dogs to make money. She doesn't even care that they're not even close to good quality. Ugh...it makes me sick. |
[QUOTE=apaprikao]Is anyone else here disturbed by the fact that her dogs are kept in bunny cages???? Granted, the room looks clean but still....bunny cages??? The room DOES look very clean, this must be the "Beverly Hills" of PuppyMills... LOL The puppies didn't look like they had very good hair -- and I agree with the post about the Ice on Ice... lol I just bought my first order of it and now I'm hooked!! This lady really needs to make her puppies more presentable.. and drop the price!!! I am sure you all agree our babies are WORTH $10,000 (or more, for mine! haha J/K) but who out there actually has that kind of money?? Not me! |
