| I'll be shopping for the dogs on black Friday - I am ALWAYS shopping for my furbabies!! This is my first set of holidays with the dogs since I became single, so we are starting all kinds of new traditions - first, I got Ella Bean some of Amy's bows (Thanks Amy and Darlin Beauxs) and got her a Christmas bow! Since I am a prey model feeder, I reserved a free range, hormone antibiotic free turkey and will portion it out over the holidays, with some side of canned pumpkin!! Technically, I am Jewish, but I L-O-V-E Christmas, so I am staying with a friend and her mom and we are having the holiday together will all of our dogs - there will be 5 dogs! and I have tons of presents for under the tree. Louis is getting a new collar and leash, which I got for him last year for the holidays, too, so I think thats a tradition and I got Ella Bean a new harness for walks. Also, I got a huge bucket of tennis balls and tons of Bully Sticks and Antlerz for all the dogs!!!! Happy holidays!

Of course it counts! It reminded me I forgot our most important Christmas tradition...Baxter and Cooper have always put their coats on, and traveled with us to "Granny's House" (My Mother in Law) she lives an hour away. The boys really enjoy going to Granny's...they like exploring all the sniffs in her house, and playing with the nieces and nephews. When it gets too crowded inside, the kids and I always take the boys for a nice walk. They always get good and wore out, the husband takes the long way back home, thru the country roads to see all the beautiful homes lit up. One more tradition...They always walk outside with us when Daddy flicks the switch on the Christmas lights for the first time each year, also! | |

| Well I don't know about any of you, but since I don't have children or nieces or nephews I always seem to spend so much on Deegan. So I've decided to start a new tradition (got the idea from a fellow YTer) to not spend so much and take a portion of what I would spend on him and make a donation to our local Humane Society or the CYTR group to help the less fortunate. I'm also going to do this for his birthday too. I also gather up toys that he no longer plays with and donate them too... some pet might as well get some good use outta them, right?
