| ? Good question! Good luck teaching that to a Yorkei. I know it can be done, but I never had any luck making them come 100% of the time, so I would not allow them off lead. |

| I'm glad to know I'm not the only one with this problem!!! When I call Frankie to come back to me outside, he just ignores me until I pretend I'm going to leave him there by saying, "Bye!!!" |

| thanks thats what i thought, and if i called her and she didnt come back i wouldnt no what to do, il just keep her on her lead, its good for me as well when i throw her ball she runs so fast and theres me running with her so she can still play ball like all the other doggies over the park. does anyone else do things like that? wendy and rosie |

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | tucker and rusty don't do it too well, rusty's my fault, but i haven't started teaching tucker that yet. we bought him a retractable leash. i guess what you should do is teach her to stay first, then sit her down, tell her to stay, walk a few steps away call her and give her a little tug on the leash, then go crazy with praise. but i also know that yorkies have major minds of their own, if they see something they want, thats what they're focused on lol!! i would just keep her on a lead. good luck, i hope all goes well for you!!
