| She WANTED a Bath!!! Amazing!! I just got finished bathing my Shih Tzu. My Yorkie mix didn't need bathing. However they have this "thing" that when they get baths, or if one gets a bath, they chase each other like maniacs. So I dry my Shih Tzu Jade as much as I can and then let her go, Abbie is waiting. The chase begins!! BUT THEN... Abbie comes up to me and turns sideways in front of me as if to say "pick me up". I say to her that she does not need a bath. But she does it again!!!!! I walk to the entry to where I give the baths, and she follows me and turns sideways AGAIN (her way of saying "pick me up"). So... OK, off to the bath she goes!! Since she INSISTS! So I gave her a bath and she was happy about it... AND NOW THE CHASING can really begin!!! Aren't our kids funny???!!!! |

| Aw, how cute!!!! Lilly gets super excited over getting a bath too. I'll ask her if she wants a bath & she'll start jumping up and down. Then while I'm getting all of the stuff together she's barking at me the whole time. However, once she gets in and the shampoo comes out, she always tries to get out.

| Muffy does that pick me up thing too. Isnt it cute? She never wants a bath though. All I have to do is ask her to come let me pick her up and she comes running but if I have the kitchen water running she runs and hides under the couch.

Thor's Human Donating Member | This might be TMI, but when my guy needs a bath, I just take him into the shower with me. He's only three pounds, so it's like having an extra loofah in the bottom of the tub. I do my thing, and then I wash him. He seems to like it fine. When I take him out, he runs around until I bring out a towel, which he throws himself into and starts rolling around like crazy. He doesn't mind the hair drier either, as long as I keep it a couple feet away from him. |

| I wish mine liked a bath! They hide when they hear me turning on the water and getting the shampoo and towels.

| Very funny! Maybe she figured it was inevitable and was just giving in. |
