| Can you give a little more info? Did he just wake up and started howling? Was he playing, looking for attention, fell off the couch, got scared? There are many reasons why they howl, not the least being they simply like the sound of their own voice and it's how they communicate.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I'm not sure if you mean howling or whining/crying. She probably misses her littermates, and mom. Is she warm enough? Since she stops when you are next to her, maybe she misses he mom, she's awfully young.

| Teddy Bear howls when he hears someone leaving a message on the answering machine. He starts howling when he hears his daddy's voice speaking and stops when the person calling stops talking. He throws his head back and howls like a little maniac. It is really funny and we usually laugh when we hear him but I would not like it if he did it all day long.

| I know it is odd but Teddy Bear only started howling for the last year or so. We have had him for 4 1/2 years. I don't know what made him start doing it.
