| New Member Hi. I wanted to thank everyone for welcoming me to the site. This is my first post....Yayyyy!! I've had my yorkie for 8 mos. now. She is my first one. She's 13 mos. old now. We also have a Jack Russell. She was rescued from a puppy mill by a person who rescues animals then sells them. Watch out for that!! I wanted to save an animals life so I went to a rescue but soon found that this one was no better than a puppy mill, or buying one from a store. It took me 6 baths to get the horrible smell off of her, she had never been outside as the pads of her feet were so soft, she was scared to death of my husband, plus numerous other things. I was lied to about her medical past and feel that she was drugged up when I looked at her initially but am now happy to report that she is doing fantastic. She is coming along w/my husband, can shake, lay down, sit (We're working on roll-over), and she LOVES the outdoors. Just thought I'd give you guys a little background. This site is wonderful. I had checked it out as a guest before getting my little one and the info. is amazing! Thanks for welcoming me!!! |
