| Yeah....so my baby may have cancer. So my baby has been throwing up and pooing for a few days now. We had brought him to the doctor on wednesday and they ran some tests, we found out he had low blood sugar and something may be wrong with his liver. Well I went there today to let them know that he has been puking and what not and the vet said that he may have some sort of cancer that will eat all of the sugar out of his food and not leave any for his body, which explains why he has been so weak. We are bringing him in right now to have more blood work run and have an IV put in since he isnt holding down any food. What am I going to do if something is really wrong with my lil sweetie? I dont know what I am going to do without him if something happens. He is my baby, I cant let him go.....

Mom to Marty & Maddie Donating Member | I am so sorry. I just found out that my kittens might have leukemia, so my heart really goes out to you. I hope and pray that it's something else and is easily treatable. *Hugs* |

| How awful for both of you! Please hang in until all the tests are done and confirmed. Try not to let it get to you until you know all the facts (MUCH easier said than done, I'm sure). Keep your hopes up and I wish you both the best!!

| my cat had cancer and she was like my baby, i know exactly how you feel. but maybe your baby can hald on for a while. Minnie was around for about 2 years after we found out about her. she had medicine everyday but was pretty happy for a long time. towards the end it was very rough though. im praying for you. try to stay optimistic, they can tell when something is wrong.

| I am so sorry. How devastated you must feel. Hopefully with more testing they will find it is not cancer, but something treatable.

| Without looking them up, aren't those pretty much the same symptoms as liver shunt disease? THAT, at least, is cureable. And many cancers are, too - or at least controllable. How old is he? |
