Anyone's yorkie do this? - Page 2 - YorkieTalk.com Forums

Buffy my 5 1/2 pound yorkie gets so excidet when she see's me sit at my computer, she'll run to me so I can pick her up.

At first she tried sleeping on my lap and she would get mad because she didn't fit, I would have to hold her butt and type with on hand. After a while I would have to switch her cause my hand was tired, she hated that cause it woke her up.

Then one day she jumped on my key board, I jumped and moved it out of the way before she mess something up. Thats just what she wanted me to do so she could make that her bed while I'm on the computer.

Sometimes its hard typing with the key board on my lap, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

My friend loan me her lap top to see how I liked it, this is the best thing. We are both on the sofa me typing and her next to me asleep. Happy Ending!

Gus mostly sits on my lap or on the floor on my feet. He will sometimes be in one of those moods where all he wants to do is play. He'll get a toy and bring it to me and drop it on my feet. I love to ignore him to see what he will try next to get my attention. If the toy doesnt work for him,,, he'll bark and start turning in circles,,, If that doesnt work he'll take off running from room to room as fast as he can go while panting that puppy pant. Thats when I have to stop what I am doing a get on the floor and play with him. Than after he burns off some of that energy, we go back to the pc and and he falls asleep comfie in my lap. These little guys know just what to do when they want something.

Stewie doees that, too. He scratches like a cat. I always know when its time for a nail clipping!

Hey Kristy,
Corky only does that when the phone rings and I run to answer it. I have a special chair I sit in and for some reason he will come and insist (while I am speaking on the phone of course) that I pick him up and put him on my lap and pet him.

Happily when I am on the computer I sit on the sofa, so he is happy to just lay beside me.

lol Trixie does that too me now too! She's really starting to come out of her shell and want some love! hehe I usually just pet her or actually get down and snuggle with her and it gives her the fix for about 20 minutes, then she does it again!

Gracie did the same thing. I put a chair next to mine so now she just jumps up on the chair and onto the table and lies there looking out the window. She just wants to be in on the action.

Yep. I sit on the chair and she wiggles up behind me and stands pawing my arm to get my attention. If that doesn't work, she climbs on the desk and tries to 'catch' my fingers as I'm typing, biting and licking at the ones moving, or tries to put her paw on each one. Drives me NUTS!!

Chai always asks to be picked up but she is also good about laying quietly in my lap.

Mac always has to be on my lap whenever I am sitting down except at the dinner table he knows better. Mellie would rather just sit at my feet and lick them. She has this foot fetish thing going.

Gidget does that but the prob is she will jump on up on your lap and then wont sit still and then when she does she puts her nose up on the keyboard as a rest and hits the key comands to have this lame find it program started so she has to stay down :P She has been laying right by my feet now days :P eiither that or just like a kid when I put her down she huffs and then walks off to chew her bone :P

Dudley loves to lay on my shoulder while I am on the computer. He will scratch until I pick him up, then crawl up on my shoulder & nap until I am done. I LOVE this time!! I had a picture but it wouldn't upload.

LOL I thought my dogs were the only ones who did that! They really dig in with those nails. Autumn has taught the others to do it, well, not taught, they learned by watching. LOL Autumn is the worst for clawing at me. She just wants up for a cuddle and a kiss then she wants down. But sometimes I think she's telling me I've been on the computer long enough and it's time to get off and go to bed. Sometimes I'm up all night, it's the only time I'm alone, doing something I like and peaceful. Umm, until Autumn starts the clawing. LOL The later it gets the more frequently she comes to me. I honestly think she gets annoyed with me sometimes when I won't go to bed. Sylvia
