Strawberry doesn't punch...but when she wants her tummy rubbed she'll flop down on my and roll on her back...if I don't do it, she'll kick at me with her legs until I do it. I know I shouldn't let her be so bossy, but it is so damn cute, I can't help but give her a good rub and scratch! If I have company and refuse to do it, she tries to get my friends to do it!

That is too funny. I'm trying to picture a yorkie punching like a kangaroo!! Katy Lou will fight me off and box me with her front paws if I am trying to take something out of her mouth (which is quite often LOL) and Sophie will put her two tiny front paws on my face to hold me off when I try to kiss her face. (She's the cuddlebug).

My Morkie, Meika, taps me with her nose on my legs.... just a little nose poke to get my attention when she wants something. Usually it's when I'm in the kitchen and she wants to be picked up and hugged. Or that's my interpretation, when I'm ignoring her cooking or doing dishes.

When I'm tickling Maisie's belly and then stop she'll sort of paw at the air which is soooo stinking cute!

My Chi, Ellie, she punches me like yours, and sometimes she'll punch me with her nose too! lol It's really funny, although can be a bit hard at times! lol

Annie B would poke you with her nose to get your attention. She was the only dog I knew who did that. We lost her suddenly in March and were blessed enough to get Gracie Ruth 2 weeks later. Guess what Gracie does...yep, she'll poke you with her nose to get your attention. The first time she did it I said, Waitt just a minute Annie, momma's busy. Then I freaked out and broke down and cried and just hugged Gracie to pieces.

Gracie also pats my face in the morning with her paw as if to ask, Are you awake momma? She does this so very softly and it's really sweet.

My Yorkie does the same thing, in a way. He like gets a running start....and then uses both of his paws and pushes me in my leg when I am in a chair. Mostly, he does it when I am on this pc. He wants my attention it seems...and needs a lot of it.

Mine uses his nose and nudges you really hard when he wants your attention. If you ignore him, he keeps on doing it until you give in. If I try to kiss him when he is lying down which he hates, he will kick me hard very quickly several times in a row with his back leg hard on my face. I don't kiss him while he is lying down anymore unless I want to show it to people coz it hurts!

Too funny!! I know mine sometimes comes up to me from behind and pounces with both paws against my calves until I turn around and give her attention.
