I'm getting Canyon's little brother on Friday. Yippee!!! Canyon is 6 1/2 months and the new baby (male) is 3 1/2 month so they are close in age, actually their birthdays are exactly 3 months apart (4/28 and 7/28).

I'm hoping since they are both puppies and both male they will get along great. Of course I'll always make Canyon my priority in the petting first, feeding first, etc...will also be introducing them outside the home.

We named him: "Tor-eh Amadeo." Tor-eh is taken from the Italian: SalvaTORE. (Saviour). Our spelling is not exact, and Amadeo is Love God. When I get pictures, I'll post.

be careful to give attention to both dogs the same, but not at the same time to prevent too much jealousy..
the little puppy will want to play and chew on the older dog.
so that might be a problem.. getting 2 puppies might be a good idea..

I've put a picture of Tor-eh (8 weeks old) and one of Tessa and Tor-eh.

They are both adorable. Hope they are getting along a little better now. You have to keep reassuring Tessa that she is your #1, and it will help avoid conflict. The only time my 2 furbabies had a problem was fighting over food, or one particular toy, and of course jealousy when one is on my lap and thinks she owns me then the other tries to get on. Most of the time they adore each other and romp and play, but then they are closer in age (7 months and 5 months).
