| My Conclusion? She's a Houdini!! Little Dixie is almost 7 months old. She never stops moving and is sooooo quick. We have two other little yorkies. Teddy (my twin daughter Heathers dog) and Maxie(my other daughter Megans dog). They both seem so much more well behaved than Dixie, come when you call them and listen somewhat better. They have my kitchen area most of the time but yesterday Dixie scaled the baby gate at kitchen door and we have a very large fenced in back yard with a five foot chain link fence and today they were out and I came in the house to answer the phone and my nieghbor came to the front door to tell me my puppy was out of the yard. There she was in my front yard, looking scared and I called her and she came right in. I don't know whether she climbed over that fence, I cannot imagine she could do that. I immediatly called my husband at work and he said he has gone over the entire length of the fence and can only say there is one place that he might question that has a space of about 3 to four inches between a pole and the side of the house. Now she is about six pds, would you think she could get out there? We never let them outside even in a fenced in yard without supervision but in just a minute that happened today. My theory is that these little dogs are actually little Houdini's in cute furry bodies!! Gosh I love them!! Now I just have to get smarter than her this week!!! |
