| Is this normal? My puppy sophie is almost 19 weeks old, and potty training is going fairly well. She has had only maybe 7-8 accidents in the 7 weeks I have had her. I feed her three times a day (8,12,5), and in the morning she poos very quickly, but after each meal it seems to take her long and longer to go. I guess I'm trying to figure out if this is normal. Some nights she doesn't even go until the morning. I feed her wellness, which she seems to enjoy, and she does seem to get enough exercise. Is this normal for her age, and if so, does anyone know when she may become more predictable? |

| First let me say, I am not an expert by any means. With the exception of his morning poops, I find it hard to predict when Tucker is going to poop even though we feed him the same times each day and he's almost 2! I know that he has a tendency to poop mid-afternoon and then sometimes at night but he isn't always regular. I think he's like a person and some days he eats less than others and some days he's constipated but I don't know. I'm sure others will have a better answer for you. As an aside, that's excellent that your puppy has only had a handful of accidents! You must be doing something right! Way to go Mommy!

| I was gonna say WAY TO GO!!! 7-8 accidents!!! WOW!!! Daizy has had that many accidents in ONE day!! lol As far as poo scheduling...it's different for each pooch I think....you'll eventually think you figured her schedule out and she'll change things that day....lol Daizy almost always poos in the morning...then mid afternoon then usually late at night. As long as your babies poo is not runny...I would say she's doing alright. and I wouldn't worry....it took me months to figure out daizy too! Good luck!
