| I found some enzyme carpet shampoo made for home carpet shampooers. It works on the same principle as Nature's Miracle. It's called Simple Solution Carpet shampoo. I found it at Petsmart. Black light does not lie. Simple Solutions also makes the best "diapers" I have found. CJ |

| As long as you have a good finish on your hardwood floors - it won't "go into the wood" - but if the wood floors are worn without any protection, then yes, it will discolor the wood. When we built on to our home, we left the bare concrete and stained it. I absolutely love it - of course it is hard and cold in winter, but you learn to adapt and it is wonderfully cool in the summer and the dogs absolutely love to flop down on it in the summer. In the winter, they flop in the comfy dog beds. Anyway, there's nothing like concrete floors for a new puppy. I just wipe it up, wash with mild soap and spray with a little Lysol. I even have a friend who had her carpets taken up and then stained the concrete - that's expensive unless you do it yourself and then it is ALOT of work. |

On the bottle of Simple Solution I bought it said to treat first and then clean your carpet. | |

| I have carpet throughout my apartment and I swear by this stuff. It is called "Get Serious Stain Extractor" Has taken out everything that I have tried it on. You just drizzle it on, swish with a brush, put a clean cloth on top and come back and it is GONE! Saved a blazer of mine that I thought was a loss, has taken out ink, wine, tobacco stains, urine, vomit, strawberry soda (thanks to my grandkids) everything that I have tried it on, it works, on stubborn stains, warm in microwave and then apply. Bought it at Petsmart and was named by Dog Magazine as product of the year. |
