Get out and Vote People I dont want to get into politics but, i would just like to encourage people to go out there and Vote. |
I am going with My Husband when he gets home later this afternoon |
We voted absentee weeks ago to avoid the long lines..thank goodness we did.:D |
I voted last week via mail...as did MY HUSBAND who CANCELED out my vote by voting opposite me. If my candidate doesn't win, I think we all know who won't be "gettin' any" for the next 4 years .... |
Just got back. No line at all. Now just waiting for the results. lol |

I took this test though, and I actually found out I'm a libertarian, so go figure (thought I was something else!): World's Smallest Political Quiz |
I went and turned around and came back home, not going to stand in line for 2 hours..Guess I'll have to run back up in a bit, thank goodness it's less than a minute from here to there. |

We never have to wait where we vote you walk right in. I think that would discourage people from voting |
I went this morning around 7:10am and no lines in Queens, i waited the most 20min. But in parts of Manhattan there are lines that wrap around for like 2-3 hours long i think it's absolutley amazing and exciting that so many people are going out and voting!!!! |
Interesting quiz, but I fell right where I thought I would--Left Wing---LOL. I stick out like a sore thumb here in the South. LOL. Yes, everyone please vote. Even if you cancel my vote, exercise your rights! Amy |
:thumbup: Just got a call from my Amanda .... proud new voter!!!:thumbup: |
I live in a rural town, so there were no lines this morning. Theres only 10 voting booths. The gas station next door to the polling place was giving away free coffee and donuts to people with "I voted" stickers! :D |
I am actually not one to say "everyone go vote!". I am more likely to tell people to research all they can about all of the issues and the candidates and then go vote. Especially with this election a lot of people are voting blindly with the mere intention of making history (one way or another it will be a first, first black (1/2) president or first female vp) instead of what matters most. Sometimes I think there should be a quiz on the candidates before someone is allowed to vote. I cannot believe how many people are voting without knowing one single thing about the candidates. It disgusts me that America has come down to this. I voted already today and I am super bummed that there is no Ben and Jerrys around here for free ice cream for me!! |
I sent in my absentee ballot last week. |
I just wanted to say i made this thread to keep light and not get into any personal details with everyone so please let's keep it light. |
I voted almost two weeks ago. :) |
Yes VOTE! Whoever wins THIS will be a historical election. Either we are going to have our first black President or first female Vice-President. It's exciting to be a part of history like this! |
I sent out my absentee ballot last week. :D Last election my absentee ballot never came, I happened to go back home (8+ hour trip) at the exactly right moment and waited 2 hours  to vote early. It was my first time voting and I was going to make sure I got my chance to vote. :) One way or the other things will be different tomorrow! It's so nerve wracking! Eek! Oh well, make sure you go out and vote if you haven't already! ;) |
Your first time voting!?! Congratulations. |
Good luck ... As I am from England I would have voted Obama. McCain is too old. |

Hubby and I went to vote at the crack of dark. Didn't have to stand in line but about 45 min. Then we went for our free coffee at Starbucks. When we got home we found a "gift" on the floor from our yorkie. Guess we rushed her a little to much before we left. Now if our guy loses we can say it really was crap! LOL |
