YT Addict | Hmmm.....not sure how to put this Ok, Baylee turned 5 mths. old on the 1st. I just found her on Brunos back humping at him. Is that normal for her age? Do all dogs go into heat at six months or do some go in earlier?

Donating YT 10K Club Member | I highly doubt she's in heat. Both males and females will hump to show dominance over the other dogs. Some dogs have "lovies" they hump...sometimes this is eliminated with neutering and sometimes it is not. So yes, she's normal.

YT Addict | So I don't have to worry about her going into heat until shes 6 months old right? im having a hard time getting over the fact that she is already 5 months old!!!

| i agree its definitely a dominance thing. Pasquale likes to hump his bed. However yesterday he violated my nephew's stuffed Mickey. Poor Mickey!

Donating YT 10K Club Member | No...and she may not go into heat immediately at 6 months either. That's a guideline.

| Ohhhhhhh yes...been thru that....what i did was everytime he attacked my feet...i'd stop dead in my tracks and say NO! firmly. Eventually he got the hint. He still does it every so often. But as soon i remind him..he remembers.
