No Longer a Member | How does anyone have the energy for more than 1 furbutt? Can someone tell me how they have the energy for more than 1 furbutt? Chloe is a full-time job. Raising her and my daughter and husband wears me out! If I ask my husband or daughter to take her out, they get mad. I'm here all day long and take her out all day and night. Anyone out there that has more then 1 furbutt then you get an extra cookie!!!!! |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | LOL I have 4 and some days it is pretty overwhelming. Like you I am home and husband and daughter (23) do not help out. When I just had the 3 they were pretty laid back, then I got Roxie my now 13 month old and she is constantly in to things and tusseling with the others. You can just see her getting that bored look and then she goes looking for trouble!!! I love them all but I am definately at my limit.

| I think its like children..after the first one, it gets a bit easier with second because now the first one isn't needing as much one on one attention. They keep each other company. In the end..they can still be a handful! My three feel the need to be my shadow...all day. I get up, they get up.

No Longer a Member | Chloe barks if I'm doing laundry or cooking or whatever I'm doing. If barking doesn't work, then she starts crying. Such a little baby! That usually does it. I stop what I'm doing and pick her up and give her tons and tons of kisses. I have a large computer hutch and a desk that's hooked on the hutch and she lays in her pink little bed on the desk so I can kiss her while she lays there. She is so spoiled rotten. |

| I don't even have and hubby or kids, and I'm a little embarrassed to say that sometimes get overwhelmed between furbies, fish, school, and work. (haha, in that order!) I used to think having a SO or kids meant that I'd have some more help, but it sounds like moms end up doing most, if not all the work. (except Mike. Hehe) I don't know how you all do it. btw, I'm nearly 30, so I'm definitely old enough to have a "grown up" life, but oh it seems hard!

| I dont really think two is much harder than one. My two would do everything together, on the same schedule. Now three is a different story, but maybe because my third one is a little busy bee. I do really love it, they are all so different with their personalities. They are just like kids, except they dont talk back. Oh and my third one is a climber too! I am constantly checking on her like a toddler. Ha Ha

| I really want to get a second one. Since my fall and back injury, I can't get on the ground and play with Aurora like I use to. She loves to play and she loves playing with other dogs. She always wants to play with Jasmine, but Jasmine wants no part of that. Jasmine is just finally warming up to Aurora. I think Aurora would adjust great to another puppy, but not so sure about Jasmine, but then I think maybe it will give Jasmine a break......or they will just team up on her LOL. I have some work to have completed on the house before I bring another puppy into the house, but I am really wanting another. I am now single and own my house, so I don't have to worry about having more than two pets like I did at the townhouse with my ex. Might sound weird but Aurora and Jasmine keep me company, they are my family. I have my mom and stuff close by, but I mean they are like my babies. I would love to expand my family and have one more baby.

| The last thing on my mind was "another puppy"!!lol I got an email this morning about a litter of "Maltese Puppies" that will be ready around Thanksgiving!! I had inquired about them before I got Lily!! Oh my....I have NO will power when it comes to temptations like this!! There are 2 females and a male?? She said "the females should go 5-6 pounds and the male probably 7 pounds"!! Lily loves to play with my mothers dog but I don't know how she would do with a puppy?? I am just getting her potty trained finally and don't think I want to start over right now with a new puppy but maybe when she is older I might get one more someday?? |
