| Do your Yorkies have temper tantrums? Chase has been really tolerant about being carried in a bag, but recently he's decided he hates it. He has to be in a bag on the subway and trains. He loves walking and wants to be independent. He will whine, yelp, squirm, etc. It sounds like I'm torturing him and is embarrassing in a public situation. I've tried feeding him treats while he's in the bag, but after the treats stop he reverts back to his tantrum. Any advice or suggestions?

| Chip has the biggest temper tantrums ever. If his food bowl is empty for even a second, he'll pick his bowl up and throw it across the room then come out of the bathroom to look at me. If I don't get up that very second he'll go in and attack his bowl and push it across the floor growling until I get up. If he's on the bed and drops something, he expects one of us to get it for him. He'll go to the edge of the bed, look at the toy or whatever and growl. If we don't get it for him, he'll go to the night stand and get something that he's not supposed to and prance it right in front of us... he knows we'll take it from him and give it to him. Sometimes we'll pick up their toys and put it on the computer desk. If one of his toys is up there and he wants it, he'll go to the edge of the bed and bark and growl at me until he gets his way... There are more stories!!!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Pixie will have a fit, whine and kick her back feet if my pom wants off the bed (never learned how to use the ramp) or wants anything at all. Roxie does this low whine/growl when she can't get up on the bed because my pom is sitting next to the ramp and she is afraid to pass by her. All of mine like being in their bags except Cali wants out after awhile. Maybe give him a hoove to chew on that will occupy him longer than treats.

| Aurora throws a tatrum alot. If she gets mad she will rub her eyes with her paws which gets me worried she has cherry eye and I don't want her clawing it. She did it b4 she had the cherry eye and she only does it when upset, so its not like the eyes are bothering her. She got a bath today and she refused to let me kiss her and didn't want me touching her. Just had an attitude because she got clean. Then to make matters worse mom cut her hair.....little miss attitude after that. She is still pouting. She also does the drop a toy and expects me to run and pick it up. I gave her and jasmine both chicken and green beans last night. They each had their own plate and were eating, so I went to the computer room. Aurora comes into the computer room, paces and huffs. Then goes on flops on the couch to pout. I get up to see whats going on. Jasmine decided she wanted Aurora's plate. Instead of just taking Jasmine's, since same food on both plates, she decides that she would rather tattle then pout.

| My daughter bought Manolo the cutest Juicy bag. Sorry to say pink was not his color. He threw up everytime he was in his bag. I think some dogs just get sick and feel confined.....Good Luck |

| Maybe you could try carrying him around in it at home and in places where you won't be embarassed. After a while of doing that, maybe he will get used to it again and settle down. |
