| Good Morning!! Nov 1st, 2008 Good Morning to All! We hope that you all had a fun, but safe Halloween! Today it is "Get ready for the winter" day! I am going to clean and pack up the RV. (Take everything out of the cupboards and drawers and put it in totes) It is kinda of sad for me because camping in the summer is so much fun for us...... but there is NEXT YEAR!!!! Shelby & Seymour had a busy WEEK celebrating Halloween. Last weekend we were at a Halloween Campout and got to see lots of trick or treaters. Shelby entered the costume contest.... well KINDA.... (we were late for the beginning of the judging so I don't think they considered her) and had lots of fun. Our friend (a little Shih tzu) got the 3rd place prize ... and we were very happy for her! We had many trick or treaters at the campground, too! Then last night, Shelby & Seymour greeted the trick or treaters here at home. They were outside in their xpen with me as I gave out candy. The kids LOVE to see them...... and I think the feeling is mutual. I really need to start thinking about the holidays soon. I am a "planner"and I haven't got a clue as to what I am going to do with my decorating or what to buy the grandbabies! Maybe that will be what I do tomorrow. What are YOUR plans??? Are you doing anything interesting this weekend?? Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!!

Loved by Alfie & Evie Donating Member | Good morning to you too!! Alfie and I are hanging out as quiet as mice here at home right now.... (typical weekend morning for us) My daughter and husband are still asleep... but Alfie likes to be up at 6ish... and me with him He burrows in the blankets of my bed and gets my toes and licks my face until I get up with him.... all the while not disturbing my husband at the same time... odd that. LOL Alfie and I are going to take a trip today to our first Puppy meet up... we do have some cleaning to do around here too, but nothing to big as we did a ton last weekend. Tomorrrow we are looking forward to dinner plans with my sister and her family... Alfie loves going there... big yard and another dog to play with all day. Have a nice weekend!!

| It sounds like you had such a fun weekend! The girls stayed out on our front porch while we passed out candy on the driveway and I think they enjoyed it! I thought they would bark their heads off, but they really didn't! We had one kid that was carrying her Yorkie as she was going! My weekend is preparing for my trip to Vegas! My Mom, my cousin and myself leave on 11/10 and I'm really excited, but I stress over packing and making sure I have everything! I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

| Hi there! I've been mulling over Christmas in my head. We have such a large family, that it becomes quite a chore! Between hubby and I we have 5 children and 4 grandchildren. It looks like Santa's workshop here by Christmas. I'm thinking of going with Gift Cards for the older ones this year to cut back on my shopping and wrapping. Of course, I have to shop for the little ones. I'm eager to see Abby and Daisy with all the kids around...I know they'll love it Especially Daisy! She was giving everyone french kisses last night. I don't know if they all liked it, but she sure did Hugs and Kisses to Shelby and Seymour from Abby and Daisy Tammy

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | We have friends over from out of town, so we've been going out during the day and going to bed late, today I decide to pass on the outing, and stay home to make plans for a very important birthday party

| We are packing our motor home up too, but not for the winter. We are moving from northern Arizona back to southern Arizona for the winter, tomorrow. We are full timers. We live in our motor home year round. We have traveled all over the USA and through Canada on our way to Alaska. Any other full timers on here? |

| Happy November 1st! That's so crazy, I can't believe it's already November! The year's just flying by!! We had a LOT of excitement yesterday, but sadly none of it was really Halloween related. My boyfriend had an all day "recommended" field trip for school in Georgia. He's on his way to becoming an architect so they went to see an old plantation, Pebble Hill, and an aquarium in Albany designed by a world famous architect (know for doing "green" buildings and designs). Well thank goodness for the internet, because I was able to find out dogs are allowed in the plantation! So Zoë and I tagged along! (We weren't going to since she couldn't be home alone for 10 hours!) Zoë had a blast, she ran around like a crazy lady and frolicked all over the grounds of the plantation. There were a lot of pathways paved by either bricks or pebbles and Zoë would pick the path she wanted to take and we'd go that way. It was crazy, she almost always picked a paved pathway, it was too cute! And then we snuck her in my black dog bag (that doesn't look like a dog bag) in the aquarium. She hated being in the bag for an hour, she kept moving around and scratching, trying to get out. But everyone that saw her just loved her and she totally hammed up all the attention! We got back in to town so late we missed all the trick or treaters! I was really upset by that, it was our first halloween all together and no tricker treaters!! Oh well, we had our pumpkins out. I carved a little baby pumpkin with Zoë's name on it. It was totally adorable between my boyfriend's giant Harry Potter pumpkin and my medium silly pumpkin! We don't have any plans for this weekend though. I'm a bit jealous of some of your plans! Oh well, it's still nice to be lazy. Zoë's passed out asleep in my lap as we're watching TV. |
