| does your dog have a nickname?? My friend and I were talking about all the nicknames we have for our dogs...do any of you have some you'd like to share or have funny stories about? for Tasha, we had a hard time picking a name for her that would stick...I started calling her Pip because she was such a little pipsqueak, and her bark came out like a little Pip..we were then going to call her Roxy which was short for Rocket (she is a speedy little thing!) but I had a dream about my childhood friends' german shepherd named Tasha..out of the blue, for no apparent reason, I dreamed of this dog...she was the runt of her litter, had one ear that wouldn't stand (so did our baby) and was the same colors...so when i told my hubby about the dream, he said he liked the name, and it stuck... she soon took on several nicknames (since she liked to eat poop, like some terriers, I would call her Poopyface, and sometimes she'd get a "clinger" under her tail, hence the nick, Poopybutt, she's also been called Sillyhead, Tashadoodle, doodlebug, and others I can't think of right now. |

| I have been calling Aurora...Aurora Bora lately...she comes running everytime I say it. My mom calls her spaz or spaz attack. When she is at home with just me and her, she is super calm, lays around sleeping alot. The moment she is around other people, she gets super excited and hyper. You can step outside for not even 5 minutes, when you walk in, she will act like you been gone years. Got distracted as I am writing this because she just saw herself in the mirror thats leaning on the floor against my desk. She is freaking out, barking and growling....she was ok until she put her face right againt it. Now she is walking on it, peeking around edges. She has seen herself in the mirror before and only time she freaked out like this was when a toy was right there....LOL She is my silly puppy.

| We have a million nicknames for our dogs, but I think the funniest/cutest is what we call Chewy. My bf came up w/ calling her Chewseph. (like joey/joseph) So when she's doing something bad and we yell at her, we use her "full" name, Chewseph. Haha

I can't believe I am still awake, it is 1220 here and I can't sleep because I have bronchitis or something, my lungs are rattling away...have such a headache...waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa sorry dont mean to whine! |

| my friend at work.... One of my friends at work has three Beagles, and one is named Petunia Mae...hahaha ..her BF calls her "fleabag" which is funny because she is far from that! Anyway, she protested her BF calling Petunia that so now he just calls her Petunia Bag instead of Petunia Mae and she now won't answer to anything but Petunia Bag! LOL~! |

| Twinkle is 'Twinkle-Toes' when she is being adorable, loving and well-behaved......and 'Twink' (in a stern voice...well, as stern as I can manage whilst looking at her super-cute face) when she's being a pain in the fur-butt (that's most of the time then) xxx xxx

| Hi, My Lucy (5 months) has several nicknames: Berry-botty (when she gets a cling-on) Thunder paws (boy, does she thunder around our wooden floors!) Kissy (because she does, often) Widdle (ditto), and ... Ratweiler ... a name given to her by my OH's drinking buddies, who find it hard to understand how a man of 6ft 7ins is in love with such a little teeny dog. Lesley x |
