| And You Just Now Noticed That? !! ?? Ok, Schatzie has lived with us now for little over a year. Next to our fireplace is the poker stick to arrange wood. Well, it's been there, same spot, never changed for as long as Schatzie's been here. Im sitting here trying to read YT and she's barking and growling at this fireplace poker. I finally look over and say "shush already, you've seen this poker before and you'll see it again". Well, she wont stop barking at it, ugh! Now, she is laying right in front of it and has fallen asleep, all her own commotion has worn her plum out. Wonder when she wakes up if she will still have a grudge with the poker stick?? Maybe I will move it if it upsets her this badly? LOL, then again maybe not as it is quite comical.

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | That is too funny...Sailor has done the same thing, the other day she started barking insanely at the fireplace, she has been and been around it since she was 8 weeks but all of a sudden she thought it was attacking her and Magic...I just couldn't quit laughing...I am guessing the fireplace won because she is now just ignoring it!! These yorkies, they are just so entertaining, what would we do without them!!

| Teddy does the same thing...we recently came home from a vacation and I hadn't unpacked yet but the suitcase was standing up next to my patio door by the bed. In the middle of the night he woke up, saw it and went nuts. Big furocious guard dog!

| Microwave popcorn drives my boys to totally insane behavior. Any time I cook microwave popcorn they jump, growl try to attack the micro and go totally nutso. I can cook anything else and they never notice, but popcorn drives them insane. LOL |

| That is so funny! hehehe - and I love the thread title, totally drew me in. I am trying to picture schatzie barking and growling at a fireplace poker......bless her heart. I wonder what she finds so suspicious about it? Maybe she got so used to seeing it that she had a bad dream about it and now is confused if that dream was real or not! LOL. That would happen to me, at least.
