| New Yorkie owner Hi All. I am a new yorkie owner. I am so excited to have my new baby. Her name is Angel. She is 11 weeks old and weighs 1.6 pounds.. She is a very good girl. She never cries at night. She has already learned to 'sit' for me, and she is real cute. When I learn how to post a picture of her I will. I am very happy to have found this site. It is very similar to the cruisecritic dot com site--exact same layout and so I should be abke to navigate around quite well!...looking forward to learning all about yorkies!! |

| Congratulations on you new baby. They have so much love and kisses. They are great. I got one because my daughter is allergic to dogs and my other kids wanted one. She is not allergic so now I have 2 and 1 on the way in about 2 weeks. COCO PEBBLES |

Don't forget to brush well everyday to keep mats away....These babies tend to mat VERY easily a pin brush is good for brushing and a slicker is good for working out a mat..... And as already stated a good premium food always helps and some salmon oil added in is always a nice bonus for skin and coat.....

| Welcome to YT! I think a good quality food is first and foremost for a dog's skin and coat. Because when they're healthy inside, you can see it on the outside. Good quality shampoo that doesn't dry the hair, good conditioner, brushing everyday, and salmon oil as is suggested by jp4m2. Any other questions, the members here will help! Welcome again, and we want pictures!!!
