| He's 14 months now and only recently started this problem. I think he's trying to be mad at me or something, cause he's outside and it's 42 degrees. He's in the sun and just looks at me when I tell him to come in or whistle at him. |

| Gus is 1, and stilling chewing like a pup. I use the bitter spray (until current supply is exhausted), but it does not deter him. Most things I give him to chew, such as Bully Sticks, make him very thirsty. Then I have to deal with frequent urination. Can't win.

| I'm the Yorkie person in the household. Squirt chewed a sofa cushion when he was a pup. I thought my wife would get very upset. She never said a word. One day the new leather sofa she'd been dreaming about arrived. My wife dislikes our kitchen cabinets. I think the cabinet doors are the greatest. Gus opens the low cabinet doors by chewing on the corners. Now they are unsightly. What's next?

Baxter chewed around 3-6 months old a few squirts of bitter lime and he left the hope chest alone. But he has a multitude of toys that he has destroyed.

I'm sorry but this is too funny! Chachi, if I was the person asking the question, and you answered like that I would feel like there's no hope of my dog ever stopping the chewing thing. LOL! Squirt is in conspiracy with your wife. I'm convinced of it. I guess I should be thankful that Mocha rarely goes after the furniture, and when she does she knows it's wrong. She's 8 months old on the 8th.

| Recently Gus started chewing the linoleum on the kitchen floor. There's a seam where the linoleum raised up enough for him to start work. After he started work, I repeatedly used the bitter spray. Either he like's it or my wife substituted the bitter contents with something tasty. Should I suspect a conspiracy? I think not, after all he is MY Yorkie, and my buddy.

| Oh bildio, you know how women work. I think your wife charmed his precious butt off. And now they're definitely in conspiracy!! Could it be your wife is telling them to bite bite, because she wants a new kitchen? LOL!

| Chewing Yes we lost a corner of our Corner TV Stand to Bella's chewing. Found teeth marks in a small Hutch in my hallway over the past year. But she is now 13 months old and (cross my fingers) I haven't found anything chewed in about 3 months. |

| I can't wait to see if he chews the new kitchen cabinets. Then I'll know if they're working together. At one time, when I was considering larger breed vs. small breed, potential chewing was a consideration. I reasoned that a small dog, with a tiny mouth & cute little teeth, could not possibly do much damage. WRONG!!! WRONG!!! WRONG!!! How could someone like me, right about most things, be WRONG? Oh, did I mention that he's otherwise super cute.
