leaving clothes on yorkies

The only time mine wear sweaters and jackets is when it gets really cold. If we go anywhere that we can't take them, I have no problem leaving sweaters on them. The sweaters would be very easy for them to take off if they wanted, but so far they have always left them on. The youngest, Razael has pj's and she LOVES wearing them. LOL...once they get used to wearing clothes and then it gets cold your usually good to go. If it were warm outside then they might mess with it. Now that it's cold mine enjoy their clothes. Matter of fact when I go to walk them they stand right next to their coats and pick up a leg as I need to put it on for them.

I usually remove the clothes towards the end of the night and brush them and then put something back on to not have those nasty tangles. It's funny but when I take off their clothes they go stand near the clothing basket by my closet to see what is next to be worn.

Now with the colder weather, I leave a t-shirt on my furbaby at all times. I haven't had any problems. Occassionally, I would find one of her front legs outside the sleeves, but the t-shirt is loose enough that she's still able to move around and I don't have to worry about it cutting off circulation.

That's cute. Hot Rod runs when he sees me with his coat or t shirt. He doesn't want to put anything on but once I sit him in my lap he "allows" me to dress him and then he's fine. Maggie is fine with clothes. She loves the pjs I just got her.

The only thing/time that I had a problem was with a tank top. Hot Rod managed to get out of it and I got really worried about him getting tangled up with that. T shirts seem to stay on a whole lot better because they fit a lot better.
