| Shouldn't she be growing? Should I be concerned that Jersey is the exact same weight now that she was when we brought her home? She was born May 13th we picked her up July 3rd...took her to the vet July 5th, she weighed 1 pound 2 ounces. I thought she had gained a little but today my friend/her future groomer weighed her for me and she is still 1 pound 2 ounce She eats very well and has lots of energy, but I'm hoping she gets bigger soon. Her mom was around 5 pounds and her dad was smaller but I can't remember how much smaller lol.

| If she is healthy , don't worry , she will probably gain weight as she mature . I sold a pup to one of my friend , he was very small . My friend was thinkink that Choubie was too thin and he started feeding him way too much and almost lose him because Choubie became obese . His vet gave him a diet and luckily Choubie returned to his weight . He is only 2 pounds. |

| growing Does she look like she has grown or is she still the same size when you bought her? If you say she has grown on her frame and looks bigger then when you got her, then I would say somesones scale is off. |

| If all the signs show her eating well, drinking, playing and acting as a pup should I see no reason for alarm. She's probably just burning up her calories or ??. If you still have concerns in a week or so maybe call your vet to have them check her out.

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | She may just be a slowing grower...Magic was this way...it took her forever to gain any weight, and there were times where we didn't think she would ever gain weight, but she was eating and playing and over time she gained put on the weight and now she is just over 4lbs... Just keep an eye on her...make sure she is eating and playing and looking healthy....she will grow in her own time!!

| I am sure she is fine. When my girl was little an ounce would be a big weight gain.
