| ![]() Chip loves to eat grass... I don't know why, but he does. I was always told that when a dog eats grass that means he has an upset tummy, but Chip does it everyday. The funny part is... we could be in a huge field full of grass and if we pluck a blade off, he wants to eat that one specific blade of grass and he'll actually do tricks for it! If we just hold it up in the air, he'll jump up and down like a jumping bean! Anyone else have a yorkie that LOVES to eat grass?

| ![]() Or how about this one... Smokey will put his butt in the air and glide his face across any surface he can... usually our bed or grass, but he does it EVERYWHERE!! He even did it in the water and on concrete (ouch)!

| ![]() My boys find something 'fascinating' in the grass and next thing I know they are rolling all over it, sometimes they roll sooo hard they get airborn! haha I don't know what it is or what they smell but I see the head go down and then the body flops over and they are off rolling like maniacs! haha

| ![]() Mine eats grass too... Sometimes I have to actually go and pick her up to take her inside because the grass is more important than coming in with Mommy... LOL! |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | ![]() Toby loves him some grass. When they are tethered in the yard he likes to lay down and just lick and use a blade of grass like floss. It's funny to see. Makes me laugh be butt of ever single time.

| ![]() Georgie always eats the grass. I was told it was because his stomach was bothering him but he eats it everytime we are outside. I tend to think he just enjoys the taste ![]()

| ![]() Izzy loves to eat grass, but Luna not so much. I have to really watch Izzy because she'll eat too much of it and then she vomits, yuck!

| ![]() I don't know how true this is but someone told me dogs have scent glands in their face and when they rub in the grass face first they are marking their area.... Molly does this and then rolls around and acts like a nut... ![]() |

| ![]() My Mia eats grass too and I always heard they did that if they had an upset tummy too so when I first got her and saw her eating grass, I followed her around for days looking to see if she was throwing up grass! Never saw her get sick but she sure looked at me funny as if to say, "Will you quit following me around and let me graze in peace!" So now I leave her to her grass grazing and she's happy. Karen PS - I finally got a picture of Mia set up as an Avatar and it doesn't look like this reply has it. What did I do wrong? Gosh, I thought I was smarter that I seem to really be! Well, now that it posted I see my picture - guess I'm smarter than I thought.
