| Getting Captain Jack's winter wardrobe ready... He has quite a few clothes already, but it is starting to get cooler. I shaved all of his puppy hair off so now he gets cold. So this is the thing. He will be 6 months old this weekend and I don't know what size to buy!! In the last month he has had such a growth spurt! At 12 weeks he was 3lb2oz 7inches tall and 10inches long. Now at 24 weeks he is 4lbs8oz 9inches tall and still 10inches long. He is getting taller but not longer! A friend of mine who is a yorkie breeder (not his breeder though) told me that she thinks he is probably about done growing as far as height/length goes, but will probably just "thicken up" now so he will gain a little more weight. She says this is probably his last growth spurt for height especailly since he is almost "square".What do ya'll think??? Does that sound about right??? I really don't care how big he gets or how much he weighs. I just don't want to buy a bunch of clothes that aren't going to fit in a month! He goes to work and everywhere else with me so he has to be dressed or he will get cold!

| When Pao was young, I only have one jacket, one sweater that I wash often through the first few months. I didn't buy too many and was saving to buy more when he was done growing. When he is about a year old, I started buying more since he is full grown. They do "thicken up" a little more as they grow.

| I was in the same boat as you, that's why I kept on looking for super great deals through YT to see if there are any gently worn clothes or new clothes that other YT members were selling. However, I still ended up buying quite few new clothing items that I found on sale from tinkerbellscloset.com. Cassi is now almost 10 months old and I think she's done growing in length and height wise and is now filling in. You could try Petco and Walmart, they have some affordable priced items. Good luck!

| After what happened with making Buddy feel bad, I took a trip to PetSmart and Wal-Mart to spoil him. Walmart has some cute sweaters for $7. They have some winter coats and winter puff vests for $7-$10. If they aren't doing growing. I suggest Wal-Mart for now. If you go to a regular Wal-Mart you get ok stuff, but if you go to a Wal-Mart Super Center (which I don't have one close by) they have a lot more to offer. I did however by him another winter jacket and boots at PetSmart yesterday. They were $14 each. I really feel like he needs the boots for the snow and ice days (if we ever get them). Have fun and save the close you buy now. If you ever get another furbabe, you can use the close that they out grow for your new one! Hand-me-downs are great!

| Well LOL... Lilly went through the weirdest growth phases. When we first got her at 8 weeks old (early, I know) she was TEENY TINY. At around 4 months old or whatever, she was like 3 lbs or so. She now weighs 9 lbs. She's very long though and has very long legs yet very slim. I've been doing some fall/winter shopping lately too. Wal-mart is very good for not wanting to spend a lot so you don't waste too much money from growth spurts. I also love barkindogclothes.com, she has hoodies and tees for very reasonable prices AND free shipping to US and even Canada (I think). We ordered 2 to see if we liked them and she sent them on Tuesday & I got them in the mail today and I will DEFINITELY be ordering more.
