| It does have a screen on top, the windows are tinted as well. The door does have a lock.

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | Right after we saw this post we went and put this door in our house...we LOVE it and the girls love being able to go out when they want to (as long as we are nearby)...our only problem was the flap seems to heavy for them, they act very scared of it, so we taped it up and let them get used to going in and out and tried again, they were still scared so now we just put some fabric up in the frame and they use it great now.... Thank you for sharing this wonderful product!!!

| That is great! I agree it seems a little heavy for them, but I have a 3# girl, Trina, jumps through like a champ. My tiny guy is about 1.8 and he can flop through. My littlest 1.6# just stands there looking cute and crying quietly. Worst is mom, at least she will stand near the door now, comes through if one of the pups opens it. It is really too hot here to keep the door open or replace it.
