I'm pretty convinced right now they were mixes. I looked at some 'morkies' online this morning and they looked just like her puppies. I think morkies are adorable, and I would be open to purchasing one as long as I was told it was a morkie and not tried to be sold as a yorkie!
Her female looked just like this with the all black face and the male looked just like the other picture. They were adorable, but they didn't look like yorkie pups.

I totally agree with you it is very very hard to find a good Breeder nowadays. I am glad you followed your heart and you walked away from that breeder. I hate it when people try to scam us.

It takes all kinds doesn't it? I agree with you on waiting and when you're ready maybe some of our Breeder friends on here could steer you in the right direction.

Yes - way to many red flag! There's something fishy about her stories and her explanations. If I were you, I would bypass her. I have never seen a yorkie pup with an all black face?!?! It must be cross bred. Go with your gut.

There were certainly a lot of red flags. I hope you find a brother or sister for Esme in the near future. Congrats on getting your masters in December.

You did the right thing Mari.

I can relate to how you feel with Esme being jealous and thinking you don't love her anymore. That is one of the things that is keeping me from getting him a sibling. He is mama's boy and I am not sure I could handle him hurting if I got another.

I truly believe that you'll know when you see your baby and the "right" sibling for Esme!

Sorry you had an experience like that! Amazing how things sounded on the up and up over the phone and then you get there to find all that! Such a disappointment! Good luck on your continued search for just the right puppy!
