hi...i'm a new furbut owner (rescued from the streets) and the vet can't tell how old he is. I think he is less than 5 years old, but??? He weighs 10 lbs and he is 10 inches tall and 16 inches long. His legs are 6 inches long. We've only had him for a week, and went through all the normal channels to find out if he had an owner, but no one has spoken up (rambling, sorry) but we are taking him on daily walks to help him eventually get down to 7 pounds. Also, cannot tell if he has been fixed.

This is all very new to us, as we have a two year old cat that we've had since he was 5 weeks old. But I just couldn't leave him wandering the streets. He is housebroken and rarely barks and did not have fleas. He does get into staring contests with the cat

Well, it's easy to tell if he's been neutered or not...if he has he won't have any testicles. Now, the age thing might be a bit harder but your vet should be able to help by looking at his teeth...although Yorkies are notorious for bad teeth so it may be hard to tell anyway.

he has a good set of teeth, very sharp (he likes to play tug of war), as for the neutered part

I believe he is neutered. I'm sure there would be something there otherwise...this is so confusing...
