Welcome! Bell was like that and I used to split the matts with a matt splitter (at any good pet shop) and then put on a children's spray on detangler, and start brushing. DOn't expect to get it all done at once.

Hi Wendy and Dakota! Welcome to YT! I'm glad you found a lot of advice. My Simon too is very hyper after a bath so I keep his hair cut short! I can't wait to see pictures of your baby!

I had a lot of trouble with Copper when he was little, too. I learned about this shampoo and conditioner from some of the folks on this site. Since I have started using the products, grooming is a breeze! Here is the website. Good luck!
