She still wasn't a fan of having her feet trimmed later but the groomer did the best she could. I think she looks great and I am so happy her nails are cut at last. It went MUCH better this time and I am now thinking the next time will be even better. I had thought of buying one of those nail things I saw on TV but thought it would be wasted money after the way she acted at the groomer last time. I figured she wouldn't let me do it either. She doesn't always let us touch her feet and if she's upset about anything at all the deal is off, you may NOT touch her feet. I asked the groomer about the nail tool and she showed me the one she had. It was a "Professional" grade tool of course, and she told me she wasn't to happy with her investment since so far only three dogs would let her use it on them. Glad I didn't buy one.
Well I just bought one Sunday, and I'm writing a "blog" about my experience with it. I usually take him to Petsmart for nail clippings, but last time the girl cut one too short, and I felt like I wanted to have more control over this. After that experience Joey is really scared when you hold his paws, but the Peti-Paw instructions give tips on how to get them accustomed to the Peti-Paw. You don't use it on them until they are thoroughly relaxed with it, but I'm not sure how many days this will take.
