| How Much Will That Dog Really Cost? do you know how much money you spend on your furkid every year? i came across this article, thought it was kind of interesting. most of us just go kind of crazy and spoil our little furbabies with all kinds of goodies. i know i always go overboard at the stores buying things for my baby! | About 3,000 this first year, but most of those were one time expenses: getting dog, invisible fence, crate, spaying, shots, etc. |

| I am afraid to total but I have easily spent more than $600 in the 8months Dino has been with me. Yikes! Almost what I paid for him. I guess it's easier spending a little here and there than spending $600 all at once.

| Oh god. With the currency and all, in 4 months I think I have spent about close to $400- $600 on food (science diet then switched to Orijen), clothes, vaccinations, pads, pad frameholder, bowls, combs, 2 shampoos, fences, ear cleaner, treats, the lot. I paid $350 for Mocha. But! My expense also includes my other dog, Lulu. It's not much for Americans, but to Indonesians it's alot to spend on dogs You know, it's funny 'cause I think food, etc etc is way cheaper in the States than it is here. Why are you guys spending so much then.. |

| Hehe, at the moment I am actually shopping for Cash online!! I am getting the other stuff I ordered for the dogs this afternoon, but saw the cutest water bowl!! It is one of those where you fill the bottle on top, but it looks like those fresh water dispensers that are usually in waiting rooms and offices. Too cute. I prefer shopping for Cash rather than for myself. Don't know why though. And once I get a girl puppy, the shopping is going to be great!! Oh, the answer to the question... I have no idea how much I spend. Overheads are about R250 ($30 a month). The rest is just shopping
