| blue born puppys Hi everyone, this is my first post so I hope I get it wright. My female yorkie just gave birth to three puppys (what else would she have gave birth to). Anyway two of them are I guess what everyone calls blue born. The thrid one was black & tan but it did not make it. I have heard many things about their health issues, but I'm not going to have them put down unless it get's really bad. If anybody has any pictures of some mature blue born puppys I would really like to see them. I'm going to try to attach some pics of them. Also any feed back will be welcome. Thanks for ya'll time. P.S. I am not going to breed the Sire & Dam together again as this would make me a very unresponsible breeder. |

| I want to stay informed on this thread. I am going to do some research, unless someone has a quick answer, Tricksie is a blue/gold, is that different from a blue?

| Don't panic yet. They are brand new and sometimes they darken up over the first week. Tayla had her first litter last Saturday. One of the pups was a bit lighter than the other, a bit greyer. By the time I did their tails at 4 days old they were the same color, a deep, shiny black.

| It hurts to hear how its said that the puppies born blue have health problems. The lady I got my puppie from has had to litters since with puppies born blue or gray what ever the color and she sold one to the lady that works at her vet office. As far as I know the puppies have no health problems. and one is about 2 yrs now. Talk to a vet. Just the way I feel am no expert. |

| Beautiful Wow, the puppies are beautiful. You sound like an excellent breeder to be so concerned. How is the dam doing? She is very beautiful, too. I just wanted to let you know that we in the yorkie world really care. |
