| ![]() OK....I have pretty much been grooming my babies myself...But I have gone back to work(after 6-7 yrs)...So I just don't have the time right now....I still brush them daily and stuff...But we are going to use the groomer route since I found a girl I really like...So I want to make sure I tip good....We really like her... I had originally taken him to a Doggie Daycare here in town...The groomer was suppose to be a "Master Groomer"...All she knew how to do was clippers....Barney has to be scissor cut...He is terrified of the clippers... So she did nothing but bath him and trim his nails...$30... So out of desperation, I called Petsmart and took him in....I explained that he is terrified of clippers and they said no problem...They get lots of dogs like that...They were fantastic...And as soon as he was done, she called me immediately and I went to get him....He looked fantastic....Even hubby liked the cut...And they only charged me $39. He got a total puppy cut since Belle was grabbing him by his long hair and dragging him everywhere....lol Now she can't drag him...Yeahhhh for Barney Anyway, I was wondering how much you tip???

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() There was just a thread on this subject, and I think most people said around 15%. Here's the thread if you are interested. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...p-groomer.html So glad you had a great experience, any pictures? Also, pictures will help the next time you go in because you could get a different girl.

| ![]() I may sound horrible. I do not tip the Petsmart groomers. I do not pay at the groomers area, you pay up front at the cashiers. I am usually using a credit card and do not have cash on me to tip. I have this thing about having to tip people who are doing a job they are pd to do unless they go out of thier way to be better things than what they should be doing. I have not seen anyone tip the groomers in Petsmart when I have seen them pick up their babies.
