| How can he do this? Okay, I need to know what's up with this ear? Trevor is 10 months old and had his ears up at 4 months. At about 7 months, this ear decided to "flop".... but only when he wants it to. As you can see, when he sees something/someone outside or early in the morning his ear is up. But when he comes in from playing outside and he's hot and tired.... it's limp! I wilt in this Texas heat too LOL Is taping at this age going to make it stand all the time, or am I destined to have a yorkie who has a floppy ear? Thanks, Cyndie Trevor's Mom |

| I t sounds like its just flopping at certain times so it will go back up on its own. Jewels my dogs ears flop whenever we go to the vet but they always go back up on their own.

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | I have heard that they tend to go up and down while they are teething...that is what happened to Sailor's, they use to be up and then went down and then one up and one down...then up again and now at almost nine months their is one up and one down and we have just let them be...they are cute and give her some character!!

| "Make room on that boat ladies" - Having the same problem with Desi, one ear up and the other down.. but, not just down..more like completely melted and dripping on her head. She is 8 months old but I'm not giving up. As we speak, I have her ear wrapped in a tampon dispenser, it worked once I'm hoping it will work again.. Good luck.. |

Do you have a photo with Desi's ear taped? I may have to resort to this with Olivia. Her ear has been flopped over on the top for about a month. I loved her look with both ears up and would like it to go back up. | |

| All aboard! Cookie's going to be 1 year old on Friday and she has 1 floppy ear. It's been floppy ever since she was about 6-7 months. When they were starting to pop up, she got a tick on her ear and ever since then, the ear remained floppy. But it's so cute. Gives a little extra character! |
