| Odor 1-2-3 products for carpets HI, I hate to say this but my yorkie male , Rocky, will be 12 this year and he still pees all over the place, even with hardwood floors and a ceramic tile kitchen floor. I never had this problem with my female poodles, and I have one now who is 14. There are always wee wee pads down and he knows to use them but he seems to go where he pleases. The best thing I have found for this are Odor 1-2-3 products. You can find them on-line and you have to call to order them. It comes it a kit with Yellow Out, which removes the yellow stain, a product which you inject through the carpet into the pad and an odor neutralizer. The injector comes with the kit. The final step is to dampen a white cloth and gently tap it onto the spot and leave to dry overnight. This seems to draw the urine to the top. You may also be able to do this with Natures Miracle, but the injector tool helps to inject the solution through the carpet into the pad. At least this system helps. I have not found any real way to stop him - even buying new carpet did not help so I think with him it's a bad habit. I am always doing the sniff test!! Whenever I see him sniffing around I check the spot and if it seems like he's gone there, I use the kit. I am not always there when he does his thing although he, too, has done it right in front of me! Hope this helps you. Erika |
