				 | I couldn't agree more, then the poor dog is to blame! Parent's like that need to be put in their place. If Tatum had snapped at her daughter you can bet your boots she would have given you a piece of her mind. I'm glad Tatum did not get hurt but she could have been seriously injured. Poor Tatum must have been terrified. |

				 | OMG, I would have been so mad! Ya know, I have a 6-year-old granddaughter, and she would NEVER do something like that! She is always so gentle with my boys. A child that age knows better. I think I would have said something to her mother. I'm glad Tatum is okay, and that she didn't get hurt.

				 | This so reminds me of the neighbor's across the street. They have a Jack Russell puppy and a 4 year old boy. The little boy plays outside with the puppy and hits and bullies the little dog and the little dog jumps up and bites at the little boy. One day that little boy is going to be bit in the face. These are the people who not only do not watch their kids but they don't teach them how to treat animals. The situation burns me every day. This is the same little boy who stole a delivery box from Tinkerbells Closet that was left on my front step and hid it in his closet. His mother brought it over to me with an apology. Luckily we retreived all of my order. I raised four boys and they knew better than to do something like that. |

| Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I may have said something nice to the child and slapped the parent! I would never let small children near my fur babies unless I know they are trained( kids not dogs) My great grandaughter is 16 months and knows how to act around our fur babies. She is the only one I would trust and then that is still keeping a close eye on her.

				 | Wow, just saw this thread! So glad Tatum is ok. I can't even imagine that happening. You'd think she'd know better if they have dogs of their own. You really kept yourself under control - I can't say I would have!

				 | Oh Brooke Im so glad that nothing happened to Tatum. I too babysit from my home and know frist hand how smothering some of these children can be to animals. I sometimes think that parents turn a deaf ear to their childrens bad behavior just as long as they are not bothering them. They truly treat them as if they are stuffed animals! I rarely allow my daycare children to even touch my animals! Glad that all turned out okay though!

				 | Oh geeze you are way too nice, Brooke! Sweetie would not have been my choice of words. At 6 yrs old they are old enough to know better. Did you check this child for horns (as in devil child?).......... Your poor little Tatum! I'm so glad that she was OK after being tossed around like that.

				 | It sounds like you will need to keep your little one in another room away from the children while you are at your mom's house. Maybe use an exercise pen for your dog while you are there to keep her safe. I'm so glad she wasn't hurt or worse. Karen |

				 | I'm sorry to hear about Tatum. Sounds like the child's mom should have a more watchful eye on her daughter. If it was me, I would've definitely freaked out. I think you've handled it very well. Lots of to both you and tatum.
