| Questions about Amber???????? Ok I have been reading all the talk about the different looks Yorkies have. I am a little confused on what Amber is considered . What type of face does she have? What colors would she be considered? I have recently started worrying about her hair. It has been getting so light. Does her hair look to light? Could anyone tell any of these things by her picture? I also read something about wrapping their hair. What is meant by wrapping the hair? I hope that does not sound silly but I cant figure it out . Thanks once again This board is a great ! |

| Well she looks to have a fox nose thats what we call it. her colors can change till she is 3 years old so don't worry too much. , I know how u feel cause i've been there done that with color. Yorkies are a steal blue and gold or tan and a black and gold or tan.the blue is it looks black but has a bluish cast to it. hope this helps.

| Amber Photo's are difficult to evaluate. First thing is not to worry about any a PET has. If you were going to breed/show Amber, then you would be more concerned with her conformation. Is she spayed? Hormones can lighten a females coat..most exhabitors do not breed their bitches until they are out of the ring..I have had a deep steel blue turn so light after a litter. You can learn to wrap by watching at a show or getting a mentor. |

A fox nose! Is that considered good? Wow I had no idea the colors can change for three years. That is so good to know. On my AKC papers the breeder said she was blue and gold. But I thought she looked like she is blue and tan. But I really am not sure that would just be my guess. Thanks, | |
